BLM wasn't following an election which does make a significant difference in the statement i just said, as for the other events, im not familiar enough with the events or violence surrounding them to comment
BLM is part of the political climate in the United States, it also includes rather extreme progressive ideologue that is being slowly indoctrinated into society.
All these grievances all adds up and bottled up into society and in this particular case , the more conservative sector of America for example.
And it leads up to Trump being elected in 2016, he is the byproduct of resistance. Furthermore, when grievance continue to fester, especially during his first term, with Progressive left creating drama after drama ( Which is well founded , I can understand why).
It comes to a tipping point when the election doesn't favor the
conservatives. The left is not willing to
Live and let Live. It is quite obvious isn't it. Ideology , social justice have taken over pragmatic common sense. It becomes a zero sum game domestically. And such moods and attitudes are also being projected out Geo Politically.
So whether civil unrest comes after election i.e During Jan 6th or not. It really doesn't matter.
The so called violence on
Jan 6th is a million times meeker than what is happening worldwide (Thanks to USAID and NED). So I personally think it is not a big issue.
