It is a fact that Kamala laughed when asked in an interview whether she has consumed weed herself and clearly insinuated that she has. It is a fact that she has jailed many men for the same kind of drug offense. And it is a fact that she deliberately kept men locked up past their release date on various occasions.

This doesn't strike me as a person who's mindful of the responsibility that comes with positions of power, or sympathetic to those who get crushed by the system. So when she describes the way an innocent person can be ruined by the system "with the stroke of a pen", I don't think that my conclusion is too outlandish.

Well, then that is your perspective and it is unlikely to change. Difficult for me to understand the conservative talking point that Kamala near ubiquitously 'cackles' and 'laughs' enough to make a point of it, while then simultaneously making very specific conclusions and assumptions over a single clip--one that coincidentally ends before further context is given via her statements after where your video ends.

The hostility, judgment, and ostracization of people who are unvaccinated is painful and should not happen, imo. If that has been your experience, then I am sorry to hear that.

I am making this assumption based not just on a single clip, but on the verifiable history of Kamala abusing the power of the justice system and screwing people over in the process. Not necessarily out of malice, but to accomplish selfish goals like advancing her career by appearing tough on crime, or to make donors happy by providing cheap prison labor when she kept men locked up even after they had served their time.

Given this track record, I don't think that it is irrational to not give Kamala the benefit of the doubt when she talks at length and with a very joyful voice about the exact same thing, about how easy it is for a prosecutor like herself to screw an innocent person with the stroke of a pen.

i'd agree 100% for the short term. i think long term she needs to open up to more policy discussion, but that's also assuming trump discusses more policy for her to counter. if he doesnt she can stay vague.
