Are you sure? Democrats have housed education for at least three decades and it’s turning into shit

That's due to No Child Left Behind, and lack of funds due to how public schools get their money. The limited amount they do get is usually funneled into admins insanely high salary. Public education is in such a terrible spot that they're willing to hire 18 year olds with 0 experience to be tutors, instructional aides etc. These positions also lock you in at minimum wage, and 5.5 hours a day which is obviously something you cannot live off of. Not to mention Admin is incentivized to not properly hand out consequences for troublemakers due to lawsuit happy individuals, so everyone gets to suffer in a terrible learning environment.

I wouldn't expect Republicans(atleast the current ones in charge) to do any better as they're the ones currently pushing to ban books, constantly calling for the Department of Education to be abolished since it's inception without plans on how to redistribute funding to schools, and Florida passing the Stop woke act that essentially whitewashed history for schools and even employers until it finally got struck down in March of this year.

What does that have to do with the scientific theory? All matter came from nothing? Takes just as much faith.

No child left behind was a bipartisan bill. I didn't blame one party for it, just explaining the reasoning why education is in a poor state.

Funding changes are still in the hands of no one currently considering there's a fillibuster going on. Last time funding changes for education were brought up, Republicans wanted to lower it by multiple billions by hanging a government shutdown over our heads. Also doesn't change the fact that any additional spending is going to be viewed negatively by Republicans since they seem to not grasp the concept of Infrastructure or investing in our childrens future as a net positive.

Fair response
Also to reiterate i'm just commenting on the current Republicans in power doing this. Hell even this week there's an entire political civil war happening in Texas over Charter schools & using taxpayer money to hand out private school vouchers, so even between party lines it's a debated issue on how to tackle it currently.

=> A 2019 Gallup creationism survey found that 40% of adults in the United States inclined to the belief that "God created humans in their present form at one time within the last 10,000 years"

Congratulation America btw ... Then these people, or a big part of them, want to change education following their belief.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creation_and_evolution_in_public_education_in_the_United_States#Polls

=> 16% believe public schools should teach creation only

/edit: I'm ok to bet that this 16% is very massively voting for Trump.

Good luck.

Very interesting. Article you posted, quoted in full...

The US judge overseeing Donald Trump's hush-money case in New York City has written a letter to prosecutors and the former president's defence team about a Facebook post in which a person claims to have known the jury's decision before it became public.

Justice Juan Merchan's letter says that on Friday "the court became aware of a comment" on the court's Facebook page, "now labeled as one week old" from a user named "Michael Anderson".

"My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted," the post says, according to the judge. "Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!"

BBC News has not verified the post, which has been deleted, or the claims allegedly made within it.

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office and Todd Blanche, Trump's lead attorney, did not respond to requests for comment.

Justice Merchan did not indicate whether the now-deleted post had been investigated or whether officials suspect any wrongdoing.

Last week, Trump was found guilty of 34 counts of falsified business records. He is due to be sentenced on 11 July.

Justice Merchan's letter did not specify when exactly the post was made, but he said it was written in response to a 29 May post about oral arguments made "unrelated to this proceeding".

Trump was convicted on 30 May, one day before the court's post.

According to US media, the post was made by a now-deleted account that regularly trolls the social media pages of the New York court system.

Because Trump has not been sentenced yet, his defence team could move for the verdict to be set aside temporarily while they investigate the matter. The could also call for a new trial if they can prove that jury misconduct affected the former president's rights.

Trump's team might also ask the judge to bring in each juror to question them, in an effort to establish whether any outside influence affected their verdict.

Jurors in the first-ever criminal case against a former US president were under strict orders from the judge not to discuss the case with any outside parties ahead of their verdict.
