I mean, 10 years ago I would have said it's a little much, but we're now 10 years further into unchecked capitalism fucking everybody over and the rich getting like 30% richer during a pandemic, so I think it's appropriate.

That's because they got bigger balls and larger brain, then your average person. This has been going on for thousands of years and the same story years later you and many others get into ephemeral arguments that do nothing but raise your blood pressure.

The reason I posted that NVDem guillotine logo is to show that radical, perhaps even extremist thinking is more prevalent among Democrats (and progressives more broadly) than you want to acknowledge [1], as is the influence of self-avowed socialists. Your complaints about Republicans being a radicalized party with no rational leaders or ideology left are coming from a narrow, partisan lens and paint an incorrect picture of reality. Yes, the Republican party currently has a problem with nutjobs in its ranks, but pretending as if the radicalization and increasing flippancy in American politics is only coming from one side would be asinine.
