thanks for being honest about it
this stands
Your level of dunning kruger is insane....science is - more than anything else - trial and error.
Science always needs to assume things at first, its not magic.
Science is hard, honest work - its not reading fairy tales about a magic superstar in the sky.
In science people have to test things. You test and you fail. You alter your methods, test again and fail again.
This happens thousands of times and you fail thousands of times before a break through happens.
Yes, something was assumed based on the knowledge at the time. Methods improved and delivered more accurate results.
Science corrects ITSELF, its not like some magical outside source embarrasses the scientific world by showing them that they were wrong or anything.
Again, you have to understand that science is hard, hard work and scientific discoveries are ONLY made by the smartest, most dedicated people in their field.
Do you really not understand how it works? Do you think scientists thought that all those parts of dna have no function because they were full of themselves or something like that? I mean...really? Do you think that?
