The worst part about his nonsense is that Texas is on the leading edge of Battery innovation and improvement. Their primary competitor had been California due strictly to Tesla. Now that Elon's in Texas and moving all the HQ, Texas has no meaningful battery innovation competition in the US.
Fact is, eventually efficient and effective solar/wind batteries probably will happen. The "solar wall" concept from Tesla is pretty awesome on an individual home level, but still too expensive, damaging, wasteful, and low life span (mere 25 years). And doesn't address grid-sized issues at all.
My prediction is a lot of people in Texas are going to find a sudden need to invest in a halfway decent diesel generator. Isn't it ironic that the more "green" our power supply goes, the more we fall back on the dirtiest sources of power when shit hits the fan?
these batteries wont happen, the density of electrons of can only go so far
batteries as big as the empire state building will be empty in minutes

you know you can store electricity in a battery right
you know how that works right????
what is it with these pathetic strawman arguments its so bad republicnas step up your game so bad republicans wow embarassing republicans wow
mills and panels directly produce electricity you fucking idiot
you can convert it into chemical energy
jesus christ, just stop talking if you have no clue
