The only thing that might be suspect is the viral replication rate being so much higher in some mutated versions but thats not picky.
Here's what "might be suspect" is to me...
China tries to get back at the west via bio-weapon, and realizes it didn't work well enough.
So Wuhan lab is about to release some purposely mutated (more deadly strains), and figures a quickie paper about covid-19 mutating, will make their "hand in the cookie jar" less evident.
/e I realize viruses mutate naturally, but this one (if that paper is correct) seems to be mutating a tad faster than.... "naturally". Especially considering all 8-9 authors are Chinese, IN China.
/ee I mean, we have ONE paper, with zero peer review, from China, by 8-9 Chinese authors. At a time when it's China vs. the western world (economically). Not racism. "Nothing but the facts maam".
