This is false. If any single part of a car is imperial, it is the spark plug, which normally is removed with a socket dedicated especially for plugs. Every other fastener on American cars are metric, and have been that way for 20-30 years depending on manufacturer.

You know how many batteries are needed right? You know cost efficiently right? You know batteries are a hazardous waste right?

To add to that: the worldwide lithium resources would not nearly suffice to get the amount of battery capacity which would be required for a complete electrification of the global power production and transport.
