no for sure thats the new republican propaganda i gues "the sun isnt reliable it could just disappear at any moment. same with the wind. THE DEMOCRATS WILL MAKE SURE TO TAKE IT ALL AWAY"
The sun goes away every night, brotherman. Literally, at the end of every day, the sun disappears. Wind dies down all the time. Hell, a calming at sea was the worst nightmare of every sailor for centuries.
See, the part that people aren't getting is Texas is the #1 state in the US for Wind power generation. Not California. Not a blue state at all. Texas. Likewise, they rank number 7 for solar. The problem has nothing to do with "How much do they generate". It's "how to keep that generation 100%".
Right now, Texas does not have anywhere near the battery storage to store excess "green generated" power for use during nighttime hours or when the wind dies down (or in this case, when turbines freeze and pumping mechanisms freeze). The battery storage to even make "green power" a 24/7 concept is so incredibly expensive, and so incredibly destructive to the environment, it's damn near prohibitive.
Granted, I don't expect you to understand these things, but prior to going on about "propaganda" why not stop posting so much of it?
