Donald Trump used to go on and on about how he is self-funding his campaign and how that will enable him to be less controlled by the lobbyists and do what he thinks is bets for the American people. He repeatedly and famously slammed lobbyist groups and Super PACs much to his supporters and fans' glee.

That is, until last month, when he announced he would start to take Super PAC and lobbyist money. Enter the Great America PAC, the Committee for American Sovereignty PAC, and the Rebuilding America Now PAC. Just three of the recent Super PACs helping fund Donald Trump's once "self-funded" campaign.

What are Donald Trump supporters' thoughts on this subject? I clearly remember many Trump supporters saying that how he is self-funded and not controlled by lobbyist groups was a great thing for America and one of the reasons he would be good for the American people to make good deals and more unbiased decisions. Well, what about now? Does it concern you that Donald Trump did a complete 180 on one of his biggest talking points?

I'm seriously so sick of hearing about Trump already; he's a fringe candidate who stands no chance at getting the nomination. He's this year's Ron Paul (gets tons of attention on the internet but loses by a landslide).

looooooooooooool

No chance of getting the nomination

I totally called this too. I was like "watch. This clown is going to get the nomination" and all my friends laughed

He said he was self-funding for the primaries, which he did.

You needs billions of dollars for a general election run. It'd be retarded to self-fund for that.

Funny how Hillary is taking way more donation money from the worst kinds of special interest groups yet nobody seems to have a problem with that, but when Trump doesn't want to invest over 10% of his total net worth into a general run it's a big deal.

There will be a quid pro quo for any big money he takes. Just like he claims to do when he is the one lending money.

He is late in the game which already puts him at a disadvantage and he has been claiming all along that nobody owns him. Guess what? he put himself in a position to be the most owned in the game

The only things that separate him from the pack now are his record breaking inexperience and his complete lack of knowledge in anything other than how to get views and his unwillingness to learn

So Judge Curiel is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association.

the same association calls for a boycott of Donald Trump, calls him a racist, etc.

this seems to be grounds for impartially on Judge Curiel residing over the Trump University case

How dare you bring logic & reason in here mate.

He self-funded his way to the nomination. Now that he has that wrapped up he realizes it's going to cost upwards of a billion dollars campaigning for the general election. I don't fault him for not wanting to float that bill himself.

His supporters will make excuses for him until the end. Initially he claimed he wasn't a politician but by the end of the cycle regardless of the result, he will be owing some favors to big people

Oh, I have a problem with it. But at least she never said she wouldn't take Super PAC or lobbyist money. She hasn't been a hypocrite on this particular issue like Trump has been. One of the issues HRC is very consistent on is receiving money from big banks and Super PACs. And people are surprised she doesn't want to reinstate Glass-Steagal? Just lol.

But yes, I do agree. If Trump wants to compete with Hillary this general election, he's going to need Super PACs. She has so much lobbyist and Super PAC money coming that it's crazy. Trump is going to have to also let himself be controlled by the powers that be if wants enough money to be able compete with her ground game in the swing states.

Post hoc rationalizing garbage doesn't actually change how incredibly racist Trump was to the point that racist af republicans called him out, but it's a cute trick.

So in short the "unbought" candidate is now selling stock in himself. Gotcha.

Associations like this aren't to be considered in being impartial. That's the basis of having judges. We all carry with us certain biases that judges must set aside to make decisions that are based on legal precedence rather than their own personal opinions. Otherwise ever anti-rape judge would be incapable of handing down less than maximum sentences. Carry that logic to its furthest conclusion and it will become clear you've missed the entire point of what a judge is and how they are suppose to make decisions.
