@Reset I do not argue that distance does not help, it does. Whether or not keeping distance decreases the chance of becoming infected more than wearing masks is a subject of discussion, I have not looked up the numbers of relative risk change due to social distancing without other interventions being implemented. If you have such research, feel free to share. I know the efficacy of face mask has been proven to be 0.45 RR compared to no face masks, assuming correct usage. I am happy to find the meta-analysis for that if you request it, but I expect you to do the same if so

Masks are not there to stop the effect of aerosolic infection, they are there to lower the risk of droplet infection. Perhaps you should do your MEDICAL RESEARCH instead of reading facebook discussions about how a viral particle can go through masks and are therefore unable to lower the risk of infection. It is simply not true and it has been proven in research. Biological plausibility as the sole argument of why something would not work does not overthrow empirical evidence obtained through rigorous testing, lengthy biostatistical analysis and peer-reviewed discussion and interpretation. You need to pick up a book on how research works, and you need to do it yesterday
