Statute of limitations applies to formal criminal charges, not to political attacks casting the defendant as unfit for high office (POTUS, SCOTUS etc)

I understand that. My point was that it's very convenient that the Dems choose to ignore one accusation, but go batshyt crazy when the accusation is against a political rival, so to speak.
