Let me elaborate myself a little here, to those who are new into the crypto world.
Check the market capitalization number on the top:
https://coinmarketcap.com/coins/Normally when the market cap reaches a new $100B number, the big whales sell for profit. So for example, when it was below $100 billion and it reached $100 billion, the big whales sold to make profit, same happened from $100b to $200b and from $200b to $300b etc etc. The thing is that when it reached $400 billion (a few days ago) the big whales didnt sell, the market cap actually went from like around $400 billion to $630 billion in just a matter of like 5 days or something. So that was a very quick jump, which is not normal, so the big whales decided today to sell a lot to make profit, thats why it got down from $630 b to currently $592 b (although it raised again to $595 billion in the last 30 minutes). My point is that this is normal and its part of the market game. If the market cap drops to $500b or even $450 b that will still be normal.
Start getting worried if it drops to $350 b and start panicking if it drops below $300b $250b, but that wont happen.
Having this in mind, dont be surprised when the market cap reaches $1 trillion and it drops to $900 b. It will be normal and it will recover back again to $1 trillion and beyond.
I hope I explained myself well.
