just some johnny come latelys. id say every regular who isnt a virulent anti-Trumper or is partial in some way to President Trump has definitely condemned or does not support the attempt to occupy the capitol.

so we have 3 distinct groups:

ones who condemn all rioting/violence/etc no matter who started it (only a handful of posters here and very few politicians) <— This is the correct stance
ones who only condemn the attempt to occupy the capitol (most users here, most lefty/rino/democrat politicians, most of the media, most tech giants)
ones who only condemned the riots from 2017-present (mostly “republican” politicians and “conservative” media)

It's all about proselytizing non endemic people to his cult, which is harder to do so when he's exiled virtually. The MAGA movement will slowly wither and die if their leader doesn't have a prominent adversarial presence because at the end of the day, people enjoy the bickering between both sides of the political spectrum, which Twitter provides almost exclusively .
