So Trump is doubling down on ignorance and instructing his surrogates to continue the race-based attack on the judge presiding over the Trump U case.

This is beautiful to watch.

I think Bloomberg broke the original story on this, either way it's excellent reporting: http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-06-06/trump-orders-surrogates-to-intensify-criticism-of-judge-and-journalists

It's crazy to me that the Trump campaign knew this piece was going around yesterday, yet they still thought it was a good idea to let their surrogates go out and call everyone from Paul Ryan to just random journalists that no one's ever heard of "racist" just for doing their job. I've never seen a campaign so incompetent.

How many elections will be lost because of Trump?

Think of all those Republican jobs that will be lost

No one has any idea. He's already made my firm a ton of money and we haven't even gotten the benefit of one November with him yet. He could end up setting the Republican party back for years even if he somehow lucked his way into a win this year (or if the RNC bailed him out), because then the Democrats would get at least 3 more cycles with him in 2017/2018/2020.

I do think that a lot of our government is incompetent, just not all of it. I don't want to abolish the IRS and get rid of the EPA like many Republicans have said.

I also do think that many of our politicians are corrupt, but a large part of that is because we have a system that allows for corruption. Bernie Sanders is now the only candidate left out of Trump, HRC, and himself that actually advocates for campaign finance reform.

I think you're wrong about the Christianity point. Many important legislation has been blocked in the name of Christian values. Republicans have gone crazy about abortion and gay marriage these past few years. I understand their positions on them and why they are so passionate about them but they hold up and obstruct other important legislation to earn political points from this supporters just so that they can say they voted against abortion or gay marriage/trans issues.

"I rather vote for a Republican who obstructs than a Democrat who votes for big government policies." And this is precisely why Republicans will continue to be displeased with their own party and get no real Conservative agenda passed in Washington. You guys say you want compromise, but you then you don't compromise.

I'm reminded again of why I don't feel bad that Trump is the GOP's nominee. The Republican party deserves Trump. Yall deserve to be so unhappy with your party.

Again, rhetoric is just rhetoric. Many Americans don't feel like the government is representing them. Personally, I don't expect the government to do much more than what they are doing right now, so I'm apathetic. I'm not waiting around for the government to give me opportunity.

How have Republicans done anything different concerning abortion and gay marriage? We've always opposed both, and we've always voted down legislation that supported either. I think you assume that Republicans haven't been principled about this issue before you started following politics. Let's remember, most Democrats had a principled Christian stance on gay marriage before they realized it was politically expedient to change their mind.

I already corrected you on this. I'm the outlier. I don't think most Republicans want the kind of compromise I want. In principle I can't support a Democrat because they believe in a bunch of ridiculous ideas. I'm only supporting Hillary because Trump is unfit to be president and Republican voters need to be taught a lesson.

>He's the only thing talked about in the news for a good three to four days before a primary

Will the media ever learn?
