He incited the riot in his speech at the WH. Did you listen to the whole thing? He may not be LEGALLY culpable (extremely high bar) but he absolutely is morally culpable. Clearly, most protestors were there peacefully. However, a small percentage of folks took his words as gospel and did what they did. Like you, a reasonable person, wouldn't have taken his words in such a violent way. But you're also not a frothing at the mouth Q supporter either.

C'mon man. If you don't think a small percentage of nutcases could interpret the above wrongly, you're living in a bubble. As I said before, I don't think you can hold Trump LEGALLY accountable for this. But you can't deny that this speech added a shit ton of fuel to the fire.

On top of that reports are that he was calling senators to overturn election while his mob was storming the capitol
