I mean I would also argue the UK health system is working "decently fine". But there are obvious problems. Worker pay, waiting times, recruitment problems (mainly doctors).
Obviously all countries have a unique system, so its probably not accurate to say for example the UK and Germany systems are 1:1 in terms of coverage, cost/delivery.
I think the principle of the UK system is great, but there is no real "competition" as in the private sector. So waste, inefficiency, unnecessary upper level management and probably corruption, are serious drawbacks.
