Trump's criminal justice reform, which he touted on the campaign trail, freed non-violent drug offenders. The guy executed yesterday in Indiana was sentenced for having abused and tortured his 1-year old daughter to death.


Trump called for the death penalty against those who commit crimes like the one the central park five were accused of. That's a perfectly legitimate position to take. Nothing in his op-ed calls for a lynching, the message is "if they are convicted of this crime, then they should be executed". Note that there is always a delay of many years between a death sentence and the actual execution, the judicial error in this case would have been noticed well before it was too late.

yeah right, because calling trump a racist, and stating that the overwhelming majority of racists agree with and support him, is clearly just hysteria and imagination, and not an easily identifiable fact for literally every single person even remotely familiar with american politics and trumps personal history (black renter discrimination, central park five attacks, birtherism, rejecting a judge because he's latino, muslim ban, comments on mexicans - just to name a few examples).
