False equivalence. Primarying elected officials from your own party who have fallen out of favor with its own electorate is a legitimate action and a central principle of democracy. Keeping lists of your enemies so they can be targetted and punished by authoritarian, encroaching government action once you're in power is not.

Can you cite where she said they should be targeted and punished in a way that isn't akin to political targeting like a primary is?

The only potential reason I could see is future attack ads associating Republican candidates with an electoral stinker. But that's not gonna work in this case right here since Trump is still wildly popular with the GOP base and came really close to winning the 2020 race. It's not like he leaves office as a figure which is toxic on both sides of the aisle like GWB was. Are they gonna run ads in 2023 tying, say, Nikki Haley to Trump? "Nikki Haley is serious-minded, polite and sober in tone, but back in 2017, she was willing to work with Trump. See how crazy she must be?"

Thats exactly what it is. They can impose political consequences, remind people of their Trump support if he falls out of favor, and remind the moderates they enabled Trump, keep them off important committees since they showed themselves to be bad faith actors, etc.

You have gone out of your way to make up shit to criticize AOC since literally the day she was elected and this is just a continuation of that.
