If you knew anything. You’d know most power plants throughout the USA are still coal powered. You’d understand that the doing away of coal would destroy entire states in the middle eastern areas of the US, but go ahead with your fallacy.

creating the robots that made your industry mine and handle as much coal as 100 years ago with 1% of the employees.

so, since you're an industry insider, walk me step by step through what type of legislation will directly cause the elimination of jobs en masse, and how many jobs those will be, and lastly what of that legislation the POTUS can do without congress through Executive orders.

just try to leave out "my boss said".

Dumbest reply I’ve ever seen. When plants around this country are all ready shutting down to increase regulations on emissions due to the Obama presidency. You must never come out of your basement to realize that facilities are leaving this country and here’s dumbass joe Biden: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/politics/biden-first-executive-orders-measures/2020/11/07/9fb9c1d0-210b-11eb-b532-05c751cd5dc2_story.html%3foutputType=amp

natural gas has become more cost efficient over the years which has ate away at coal operated plants, but even in facilities where natural gas is used, coal is still used as a secondary source as it still is cost efficient. Emission regulations have hit power plants with the increase cost of scrubbers to decrease sulfur dioxide from exiting the stack. Which has caused power plants, such as the one in coalstrip Montana to begin shut down procedures. This is a recurrence that’s seen through out the United States as companies decide to move over seas.

Do you know the difference between a power plant and a refinery?

Well, since you used the specific term "power plant", why don't you go ahead and redefine the term in attempt to not be incorrect about the fuel source that is the largest source of electricity generation in the United States.

but.... Trump has had full control over the EPA, and coal plants are still shutting down.

The truth is coal's economic viability is over. We're transitioning off of coal whether anybody likes it or not because it's no longer the cheapest option even after the ridiculous subsidy we give it in the United States.

You’re still an idiot and have no idea on what the cost would be to this country to do away with coal.
