You are right. It's not over until Wednesday, January 20th.

That’s correct.

Thanks for reinstating what I just said.

If you knew anything. You’d know most power plants throughout the USA are still coal powered. You’d understand that the doing away of coal would destroy entire states in the middle eastern areas of the US, but go ahead with your fallacy.

Yes, it's true, i got suprised that only 20% of your electricity was coming from nuclear (75% here) and.. more than 60% from COAL & GAS ?!
And it's especially sad because it seems you have much potential from solar, wind, or hydro.

Who is banning coal?

You've bought a pile of shit lol.

NATIONWIDE the coal mining industry employs 53k people.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/215790/coal-mining-employment-in-the-us/

14k of those are in West Virginia alone

https://www.statista.com/statistics/215786/coal-mining-employment-in-west-virginia/

the population of west virginia is 1.792 million.....

so that means in the largest coal state the workers equal .78% of the population, and of course not all of them would be put out of work by emissions regulation.

I guess you count the whole industry jobs & sectors dependancies, not only mining...

That’s funny that the CEO’s of coal mines and plant facilities that operate coal have directly stated to employees that operation could end with the election of Biden. It’s also funny that you think that on such a small view that the shutting down of a mine or plant only effects the people working at said facility and not the whole community. You must have no understanding that the lay off of a min of a 100 people can destroy a whole community. Since it’s a 100 family’s that normally relocate. It’s a huge cost to the city when the taxes and money that goes to the city through electricity and fuel now causes the city to increase cost on the consumer. It also does away with them families buying and supporting businesses in the community. But you only see things in a small picture.

whoa, CEOs set to lose money to regulations on emissions told employees that the whole operation would go under if Biden got elected? crazy stuff.....

but sure, please link me to legislation that Biden has specifically called for, that he has the power to even enact via EO, that will cause the closure of coal plants.

you realize that would mean switching over nearly all of the infrastructure of the USA's power grid to a non-coal power source, right?

so we're going to install trillions in solar, wind, nuclear, and hydro power plants, through executive order, and without congressional approval?

"i bet i can convince them to stay"

jesus you bought a fat pack of bullshit, and from CEOs worse of all lol

I’m a license boiler engineer. I see the direct impact of regulations on facilities and have been in meetings where the conversation is leaving the United States. What are you again?

How many articles do you need? One from every state that has the same concern.

creating the robots that made your industry mine and handle as much coal as 100 years ago with 1% of the employees.

so, since you're an industry insider, walk me step by step through what type of legislation will directly cause the elimination of jobs en masse, and how many jobs those will be, and lastly what of that legislation the POTUS can do without congress through Executive orders.

just try to leave out "my boss said".

as expected, "we took Biden's pandering watered down version of the Green New Deal at face value, without controlling for what congress/senate would even approve, and here's what that would do without any more controlling for relevant factors such as job displacement locally in mining communities".

jesus lol......
