R conservative is good for finding out about stuff that normally wouldnt pop up in left wing media, e.g. the cafe that went out of business for having a man tax

https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/apr/24/handsome-her-vegan-cafe-that-charged-18-man-tax-sh/

A lesbian-owned, vegan restaurant that charged an 18% “man tax” has closed its doors after less than two years of business in Brunswick, Australia.

Handsome Her, a small restaurant billed as “a space by women, for women,” made international headlines in 2017 after announcing upon its opening that female customers would get priority seating and men would be charged an optional 18% tax “to reflect the gender pay gap.”

“When we opened Handsome Her in 2017, we expected that perhaps we might make a stir through our brazen public discussions of structural inequality and oppression,” the cafe said in a Facebook post. “The man tax blew up the internet, an idea that we didn’t think was all too radical, yet the way the world responded showed us how fragile masculinity is and solidified the necessity for us to confront and dismantle patriarchy.

I can't say I value knowing about this enough to go to r/conservative. Business owner uses a gimick that alienates half her customers. Yeah okay, it failed, did we expect anything else?

r/conservative is cancer. There's no intellectual debate there. I'm glad it exists though. It shows that modern conservatives really are THAT stupid and gullible.

If faggots like you fought this hard against Obama, he wouldn't have been president.

https://thefederalist.com/2021/04/12/twitter-suppresses-tweet-about-blm-founder-buying-1-4-million-home-in-mostly-white-neighborhood/

It's important to recognize that a few years ago, there was an active debate as to whether or not Twitter was "shadow-banning" or otherwise censoring conservative voices. Twitter denied the accusations, and a number of our moderate political voices stepped up to defend them. That perspective has clearly collapsed under a mountain of evidence.

Twitter suspended Jason Whitlock, a black journalist, because he posted publicly available information that is being reported in a number of media outlets across the country. Namely, that BLM "trained marxist" founder has acquired a mini property empire on the back of her work with BLM that raises questions about where donations are going, as well as the obvious but unsurprising personal hypocrisy.

In reasonable times I think the response expected from Twitter is clear. The employee would be identified and their employment terminated for using the company platform in an inappropriate way. But I think we all know that's not going to happen. When Twitter is regulated by the federal government, and I have every belief that they will be, this will largely come down to their HR incompetence, and Jack Dorsey will need to explain to his investors why he killed the proverbial golden goose.

Twitter censored a black man. Fairly sure that’s racist but a pale pasty privileged lefty billionaire hack dorsey gets to be more of a minority because the left says so lmfao

e: youre totally right the real estate listing is public information. not like hes doxxing. then again twitter just assumes most people dont know this. such a laugh
