Trump was upfront about running on a platform of "screw them" while Biden explicitly ran as the "great uniter" who would heal the divided nation.
Another key difference is that Trump was talking mostly about Democratic politicians and their policies while Biden was talking about Trump-voters and their worldview and values.

But then again, is anyone surprised? "If you're voting for Republicans, you're a racist/sexist/classist/bigot/xenophobe/climate sinner" has been the Democrats' favorite argument for literally decades...
