F = MA does not denote direction, Acceleration in this case is velocity in any direction whether it is speeding up , slowing down or constantly going the same

it is essential to velocity to denote direction in any real setting

if something is experiencing constant velocity it is by definition not accelerating
acceleration is the change of velocity (speed or direction) of an object by means of a force

not accelerating = the standard commonplace English definition of the word
the means of the force that cause the acceleration, the vector the force is traveling in , as weell as the time taken have nothing to do wether an object is experiencing acceraration
acceleration has a physics definition as well that means much more and zero change in velocity is a change

He's saying that the acceleration may be zero m/s^2, but that's still an acceleration since it can be represented.

It's basically just a big red herring

I'm not sure what you are saying at this point but I am going to make this clear one final time.
A change in velocity is by definition acceleration in physics. This is not my opinion. If an object is traveling 2m/s west then is traveling 2m/s northwest is has experienced a change in direction and therefore has accelerated due to a force. If an object is traveling at 2m/s west and then is traveling 2.5m/s west it has experienced a change in speed and therefore accelerated due to a force. In both cases there was a change of velocity because velocity is a vector component of speed and direction.
If an object is traveling 2m/s west and experiences no change in direction or speed it has a constant velocity and is therefore not accelerating.

It isn't "accelerating", but you can still calculate an acceleration, even if it turns out to be 0m/s^2

you could derive a value of 0 from velocity with respect to time but it would not make this statement true
