We don't have roads in Nunavut except in town. There's no connecting roads between southern Canada or other towns, fly in only so there are no roads outside town.

Maybe one day we can have a road.

We're all banking on it. There's just very little population up here to make it worthwhile but the DEW (Distance Early Warning System) line sites are by each town. Hopefully Raytheon pumps more money up here and does some kind of venture with Musk that also provides civilians with regular internet services.

Sometimes Russians do come across in track vehicles up here over the top of the world. Nothing military, just expeditions.

I wear it almost all the time. I will forego it if I'm just moving around the parking lot at slow speed, and often don't wear it to/from the grocery store - which is 3 blocks away with a pair of stop signs in the way. Other than that, it's on even when I ride in a car driven by someone who is openly defiant about wearing them.

I'm not anti-seatbelts. I'm anti-seatbelt laws. Don't pass laws you're not willing to kill to enforce, and all that.

Because then they just become a tax on the poor.

oh ya im with ya, i just find a large overlap of people in a general sense that move from anti-law to anti-thing without controlling for said thing.

Half of the Biden voters on this forum believe that Republicans are literal fascists in disguise.

The notion that Republicans are "crazies" and Democrats are a rational, reasonable group of individuals is just in complete denial of the what's going on.
