interesting take when the person asking for unity is a white guy

which is fine, but it’s clear there is no explicit desire for unity, just lip service

Let's not pretend like everyone on the right wants unity. There are probably some 7% on both ends of the politican spectrum who want to crush the other side and ship them off in one-way trains rather than unity and healing.

i disagree, i feel the people who voted for trump were lied to over and over again.

this is trump's persona and his MO. sow division, false information, and run on smokes and mirrors. all claims, no substance. the media did a horrible job in calling him out on all the bs and same with the dems. dems are abosolutely pathetic in this regard.

the result was four years of trump perfecting a disinformation network that was amplified by the entire GOP.

weird the other half of the response tpyed in my other tab.

if these people arent given a chance to understand that they were lied to it would be a big disservice.

idk playa, i honestly think that if Biden can keep Kamala's soundbytes to a minimum he can work with Mitch and get back onto a much more boring track.

Mitch afterall would be far more happy with less of a spotlight on him, Trump brought new voters but way more scrutiny.

they can move back to splitting hairs on the big stuff that isnt on the agenda anyways and move through the small stuff in a bipartisan way.

dem POTUS + GOP senate + split house = best for the stock market anyways long term. GOP mass tax cuts is great for short run but the bubble outruns gains and it goes pop.

of course, which would be good and is ideal for people like me and you, especially since it seems the regressive tax rates and capital gains rates aren’t likely to happen. but lets not pretend this is some reunification project. it’s back to the real status quo

pushing the fringes from political engagement is the only way unification of possible. when alt right hacks and far left wierdos are involved unification cannot be done on literally any issue. only by making politics slow as molasses but moving in a blandly progressive direction can the 75% of the US that can be unified see an end to hyperpartisan politics.
