Democrats looking at this as a loss in the Senate and House is a good thing... maybe they'll make some corrections.
But at the end of the day Trump is out. Biden might be on track to win by 306-232, like Trump did in 2016. And Democrats held the house. That's good enough.
The way I look at this election is that Trump committed a multitude of GIGANTIC blunders and it still took a once-in-a-century pandemic and an unprecedented propaganda effort for Democrats to defeat him by a razor thin margin.
Democrats underperformed expectations in all races, for the presidency, for the house, particularly for the senate, and also in the races for control over state legislatures and redistricting.
They barely achieved their primary objective (oust Trump), but failed to achieve any of their other goals.
It should also be noted that the tipping point state will end up being Wisconsin or Arizona, where Biden's lead will be in the range of 20k votes (if he even holds AZ at all, Trump still has a small chance to win it, not that it matters at this point).
