Either governors have the power to open up or Trump. Few weeks back you guys were mad that Trump was usurping power from governors who know better what's going on in their states, now you're mad he isn't deciding how all states should behave?

Seriously, do you have a reading disability? Skinned said nothing about the Trump deciding how states should behave. He said "States can't open on their own. Ohio does not have enough testing supplies.". The best interpretation we can give here for your case is that Trump is still trying to force states open but isn't providing the resources to make that a thing.

Apparently you have issues with reading comprehension, he very clearly mentions Trump in decision to open or not.

We've been over this. Trump is not a god, he's not sitting there capriciously deciding which states get supplies which don't. If Ohio isn't getting them then that probably means the federal government probably doesn't have those resources?

You guys sound like a bunch of 13 year old girls crying about how the world is unfair and daddy Trump is to blame for everything, when if you critically think about he doesn't have control over supply/demand dynamics.

Mentions in the decision =/= Trump deciding how states behave

If Trump wants states to open he needs to provide supplies to make that possible.

If the federal government doesn't have the resources to make opening safely possible then don't push states to open.

Again Trump doesn't have magical powers of spawning scarce supplies, i know you guys view him as an almighty god-figure but that doesn't represent reality.

He shouldn't be making the choice on a state level since states are so different, hence why he gave governors power over opening or not.

If he doesn't have resources then he shouldn't have ever been pushing states to open.

He never "gave governors power", he stopped trying to take the power they always had.

Trump is getting criticized for trying to force governors to open their states while not providing the resources to make that possible. Everything Skinned is saying is totally consistent with this.

Forcing...lmao, so dramatic. Forcing would be to hold aid or some other form of punishment for not opening, not him saying it'd be nice to open some parts on a local level.

NY has no regeant to dye the tests with, ohio lacks test taking supplies like swaps etc. We know you have been stocking up we need that now so we can make plans to open, which we both want.

Trump can't give away power he doesn't have... lol. States determine when things open back up. It'd be nice if the president was the national figure who provided guidance... particular early on when states wouldn't close. But he was too busy owning the libs to do those silly presidential things.
