Obama ended his last fiscal term at 4.2% unemployment. It was over 5% in 2007 under Bush before he crashed the economy. It dipped very slightly to 3.9% under Trump and then shot up like a rocket because of his incompetence.

62.9% at the end of Obama's last fiscal year, got slightly higher under Trump at 63.2% in 2019, after falling below Obama's number to 62.7% in 2018. Neither can match old Dubya and his 66%. Of course, Bill Clinton had it up at 77%. No Republican has even been able to match that.

Laborforce participation rate is an unsuited metric to assess presidential performance since it depends a lot on the demographic makeup of the nation. When a society ages and large cohorts (i.e. boomers) retire, the laborforce particiation goes down as well, for various reasons.
