When the moment came to reach out to the rest of the party (electorate, not DNC figures), Bernie instead used antagonistic and divisive "us vs them" rhetoric, burning bridges instead of building them.

Fine, but that's an incident from 2016. And none of this stuff would matter if Bernie had been able to bring a majority of the primary electorate on his side. If he has enough delegates going into the convention, the corporate wing can indeed not stop him.
