They are betting favorites to control both chambers of congress and the presidency. A lot of damage can be done.

The supreme court thankfully has a conservative majority, but they might hear some cases several months or years down the road.

People are still talking about the supreme court maybe getting around to ruling against the blatantly unconstitutional Obamacare so we better not confirm ACB the scary nice lady.

court packing is all the rage these days but i have my doubt they could muster a simple majority on the matter even if they control both houses. look at how nasty its been in short order for them to change procedural issues around SCOTUS deliberations. they get 4 justices say under Harris then the other party gets like 6 a term or two later. the escalation isnt worth it.
