I don't really intend to counter the idea that big business has an outsized advantage in the rental space, and that we have over-incentivized giant corporations owning homes over individual families. We've got an excess of houses but they keep houses off the markets at super high prices so they can keep prices high at the expense of those who want to live in and maintain them.

looks like grounds for manslaughter, or accessory to one. having untrained, unsupervised, unlicensed pit bulls is a real stupid move. imagine if it were a gun it could have gotten up by itself like the pit bulls did and killed too!

And going by what I see from the ABC article, if the dogs were allowed to freely roam the neighborhood and had attacked people multiple times before, the owner should absolutely be brought up on manslaughter charges.

As a pet owner, it is your responsibility to keep your pets under control at all times. No exceptions.
