Things that most people miss when they say things like "Americans are so dumb they aren't present in math heavy fields" is that people from Asian countries will work far cheaper and businesses are abusing the visa process by not hiring American workers who can do the job like they're supposed to.

you also need a background check because you are also importing gang members, murderers, rapists, pedophiles and so on.
not sure what people say about American, I certainly don't say that.
you could have some directed migration with previous background checks and for people that clearly know some history, culture, heritage, language and are coming to work, not slouch.
