This is true, which is why i pulled out, i made more than enough.
But if you keep everything invested there will be a crash somewhere on the horizon.
The fact that investment firms and banks are involved now is enough to make me 100% sure that they will try to burst this bubble.

Thats why is never good to keep all eggs in one basket. If you already pulled out and made a ton of profit then thats great. I already proffited (and keep profiting in fiat), but I still have part in cryptocurrencies because I know I can make more profit, because in my opinion I dont think its a bubble, but I could be wrong and you could be right, so we will see.

It is clearly a bubble though, bitcoin is just used as a vessel for investment now and nothing else.
This is not sustainable long term.
I do not care about profits anymore, i can live comfortably for the rest of my life.

Jeez how much did you make?

That said, if I were you I'd still hold a solid amount long-term, and maybe a few other cryptos.

I can see it going either way, I already cashed out my initial investment as well. Freerolling with profit now.

I worked in the mines in north queensland to make my money initially, i bought some bit coin at 12 dollars to buy some things i needed to get through a rough patch, then when they hit 68$ i realized i was onto a good thing, i bought 950 originally then traded them into various other coins which mostly lost me money, had 741 left when i divested.
Still going in to work every day, still going to try see as much of the world as i can when my partner wants to take a break from her work.
Overall very little changed, i bought a few things i wouldn't normally like a VR setup and a 4k tv though.
I did keep my iota actually, just going to see what they do, i only bought a thousand.

For anyone into cyptocurrency...I would think the smartest move now would be to get out while the getting is good. Maybe switch to something a bit more long lived, like diamonds.

Other than actual tangible things, like diamonds for example, I have never seen any bubbles, that don't eventually burst. Especially when considering intangible things like cryptocurrency.
Maybe real estate if you you don't think diamonds are a good investment. Unless people learn to control their breeding...land will always be worth something.

Uhhh. Gold maybe, but diamonds are virtually worthless outside of a jewelry store.
