I'm saying you're not an expert cosmologist.

Well you're spreading misinformation, so maybe you should go back and brush up a bit.

There are prominent scientists who believe the big bang is cyclical. I don't see how that's misinformation unless you believe the big bang didn't happen, which, even if that is so, he's stating an opinion, not deliberate misinformation and propaganda.

There are also prominent scientists who believe the big bang isn't cyclical. He's stating as if it's a verified fact.

It isn't a matter of opinion.

Lol, yes it is a matter of opinion. No one knows what came before the big bang, and, a cyclical universe usually doesn't affect the theory of the big bang post bang. The big bang is wrong anyways, so I don't really see why you're calling it fact.

I'm not. You are confusing me.

Still not a matter of opinion.

The number of scientist who don't believe in the big bang are few, probably less than 1%. You will have this in any theory. There will always be people playing devils advocate.
The few that don't believe in the Big Bang are probably backing their own personal belief.

There is more than enough research to say Big Bang was more likely to happen than not.

Among the different theories that surround the big bang, it's all opinion and fantastical conjecture. No scientist really knows what happened during the big bang, no scientist knows the source of dark energy, no scientist knows the type of dark matter or has even detected dark matter, and so on.

I like to call the big bang hypothesis and its surrounding theories and patches Fabricated Ad hoc Inventions Repeatedly Invoked in Efforts to Defend Untenable Scientific Theories, or FAIRIE DUST.

Exactly so I don't like when people act like they know (everyone in this thread but me).
