If Biden publicly admitted at this point that he was not gonna run for reelection, he'd be a lame duck right away. No matter if he intends to run for reelection or not, tactical considerations force him to pretend like he will. Hence, we cannot get meaningful info on his true intentions from his public statements on this issue.

As of now I'd be happy to vote for Biden again. He's on track to beat COVID, restore the economy, and pass a big infrastructure bill. That's the kind of stuff I voted for.

No offense, but Biden is only marginally contributing to beating covid. The vaccines are doing the heavy lifting in this regard, and the country can thank the Trump admin for having secured enough doses early enough. Looking at the utter failure of the EU, this step was absolutely crucial and not trivial.

Am I allowed to crash the party and point out that the Trump Administration bullied the CDC and FDA into approving the vaccines as "experimental" medications without bothering to make that fact clear and plain to the public?

Not saying Biden is any better on that score, merely saying, before we all get on our knees for Trump, perhaps slow down and understand that nobody anywhere knows any potential long term consequences of this vaccine type. It has never been market tested, never had long term tests, nothing. Let's not go overboard here.

Apart from school reopenings, I don't really have any complaints about Biden's response to COVID, whereas I had a million when it came to Trump. He's clearly more engaged and responsible than the former guy, and presidents get credit when good things happen on their watch.
