All the talk about invoking the nuclear option, adding states to bolster their Senate majority and stacking the Supreme Court did them no favors in this regard if you ask me.

That's one thing where the Biden campaign low-key did a really good job: not scaring or upsetting the persuadable center-right but trump-wary swing voters who were looking for a palatable alternative to the president. Bernie would have caused a lot of them to stick with Trump.

A nationwide lockdown mandate is a pipe dream anyway. Most GOP governors will just tell the federal government to fuck off, end of story.

Joe has said the entire time he's going to have to work with governors to get things done. He didn't just say that to be politically correct, he said it because he understands the separation of powers lol

It will still make a difference when the president encourages mask wearing instead of actively undermining the advice of health experts.
And a Biden administration should be more trustworthy han a Trump administration at rolling out a vaccine once it becomes available.

Covid is the one area where even a committed Trump supporter like myself has to acknowledge that Biden will be far better...
