what motivation could canadians possibly have to do that in the first place? has the US occupied them for 70 years? does the US keep steal their land and resources, bulldoze their wells and houses, abduct and torture their citizens and kill their children, reporters, protesters, and women? does canada not control their own borders? does the US dictate what canada can import, what they can build, what they can grow, who they can marry, and where they can travel? if so, one would probably understand why canadians are so angry to resort to such barbaric actions, and would probably be a whole lot less sympathetic to the US "retaliating" by murdering tens of thousands of canadian civilians... it's almost like context and history matter...
As a Canadian, I can very easily make the point that we have been dominated by America for the entirety of our existence as a state.
Vast majority of all media we consume comes from America, the products we consume, etc. etc. etc. All America. We don't have our own cars, we hardly have any of our own businesses, we have no national security other than what is guaranteed by America. We're forced to follow America like lapdogs into every conflict. We're a vassal state.
Either way of course we wouldn't perform an act of barbarity because we're civilized people.
