Sorry to hear you believe that.
Trans women aren't taking performance enhancing substances though. They're merely competing using their body as-is, like virtually all athletes.
To your basketball example, the changing of the rim height is a material change in the conditions of the sport itself, whereas the inclusion of trans women in women's sport isn't about material changes to the sport and instead is about accessibility and equity. The 'rim' stays the same.
Their body as is enhanced because they were not born XX like all the other athletes on the field. Just like if a biological woman began using performance enhancing drugs.
If they used their body as-is they would be competing in a mans league.
Psychologically they might be someone else, but if they had to take drugs and go through whatever body modifications to become their as-is body they was not their as-is body to begin with.
Maybe after all that transitioning that's their as is body as in personally its their body, but from a competitive standpoint its not. Its been enhanced.
Take a aerodynamic vehicle, okay take out the engine and everything that mostly makes it a race vehicle and put in a ford focus engine and put it against a ford focus a race. The frame and other things that added little enhancements here or there still remain only the engine changed, it still beats the ford focus and its not fair to put it against the stock ford focus.
