This forum isnt going "full blown white nationalist". I honestly dont see a shift in the usual "55-60% conservative, 40-45% liberal" split of this sub. It's just that the tone has gotten harsher as the election campaign picks up pace and we become more divided in our assessment of the protests against police violence and the ensuing riots.

The forum has gotten a lot less liberal in recent years. Tons of liberal posters just stopped all together because it has more or less become impossible to communicate with 8/10 conservatives on the forum. And in that same time period we've had a lot of idiot conservatives join, like Ghot and EndlessCry. We're probably 70-80% conservative.

The 60/40 split you're referencing isn't liberal vs conservative, it's Trump cultist vs non cultist, with 5 of that 60 being supporters who can actually have a conversation. People like IceMage and Thundercock are absolutely conservative, but the bar for conservative has been warped and distorted so much they're falling in the "liberal" category despite not having much movement in their policy opinions.

Really the forum is probably 75% conservative, 10% moderate, 15% liberal.

I don't know, I've seen a lot of change over the past ten years. Christian conservatism has declined, fiscal conservatism is nonexistent, the libertarians have died off, an authoritarian social left emerged, and the antithesis to that formed on the right.

As the forum realigned, more voices fell into the conservative camp than were there before.
