She's certainly well-educated, but so are a lot of people whom we care nothing about because they haven't accomplished anything worth remembering. She's privileged to be married to a great man, and not of all people someone who should be complaining that her voice isn't being heard.

Like I said, the folks you see at a wallmart are not a meaningful standard. In terms of looks, only 30-50% of the population is viable to begin with. In terms of IQ, we must obviously compare Michelle to other figures in a similar position, other figures who have a national platform to speak about politics and society like she does. Yes, if you put a mechanic or janitor or nurse on the stage at the DNC and let them give a speech, they would produce a less smart take on the state of the nation than Michelle. But no one would do that, no one would ever consider their opinon relevant for the public discourse. Relative to the platform Michelle has and relative to her peers from the political sphere, her intelligence is average at best.


Your argument is equivalent to someone saying "Mitch Trubisky is an awful QB, the Bears need to dump hm and get someone who's actually any good" and you replying "wrong, Mitch Trubisky is an absolute elite QB, there are thousands of college and XFL QBs who are far worse than him. He does rank in the top 1% of QBs nationwide, therefore, he is actually great".

he doesn’t have to. after his ancestors started two world wars America could have crushed Germany permanently. We decided to be benevolent and not further punish an entire country because a few warmongering dickheads there wanted to keep fighting useless wars. instead we helped them rebuild with the Marshall Plan, gave them favorable trading terms for decades, and paid for their defense against external threats.
