The party is coelescing around Trump faster than most thought they would. Most thought it would take until the after the convention and maybe then some.

This unifcation was also more or less shown in recent national polls, a recent PPP poll where Georgia Republicans supported/did not support Trump at a mark of 84/3, and toward the end of the GOP primary contests where a near majority of voters either supported Trump or voted for him because they did not want to see Cruz/Kasich/RNC pull any shenanigans at the convention if Trump didn't get 1,237 delegates.

Of course, people like the Bush family and Romney may never come around to Trump, but that may not matter too much.

What matters for Trump is that Republican voters are now uniting behind him. In recent political history, that usually starts to happen after party elites (such as Paul Ryan) give out their endorsement. This year, it's the opposite. The Republican leadership is forced to back Trump after Republican primary voters made it clear who they wanted.

He proposed import taxes to help bring a fair playing field to our trade deficits and bring OUR jobs back to America, and eliminating barriers for corporate inversions so businesses could bring Trillions of tax dollars back to the US. He proses to seal our borders and protect OUR national interests. He wants to make our military solid and get us out of the middle east money pit.
