Fun fact: California passed SB 1273 which allows schools to not report crimes, including assault, to the police. Why you ask? On paper they say it’s to avoid “disproportionate arrests” of black students. That’s code for “black students commit more problems in school and we don’t want to look racist”. Absolutely shameful. Now less kids are safe, the bad black students get a pass to continue breaking the law and will not learn how to become better people. There is no disproportion, there are only uncomfortable facts.

Every kid will suffer due to this disgusting policy. It helps no one. It only serves social media highlights and an invented reality. This just made schools even more dangerous. You want to help? Teach ALL kids to be better. Hold people accountable for their actions. It’s that simple.

Deterrents for bad behavior are necessary and this spits in the face of justice and safety. Sad day again. I’ll be back when the next lost soul goes off the edge to tell you “I told you so”.
