This is where you lose everyone who has seen the video. He attacked. He attempted to take a weapon that was not (according to the defendents) even aimed at him away. He repeatedly punched the owner of that weapon. He was shot incidentally in that struggle.

No. And as a point in fact, the father's weapon was specifically NOT pointed at Arbery during the incident. The video's still up at liveleak, you can check it out.

I was pretty sure about the father not drawing a weapon until after shots were fired based on the video so that one wasn't much in doubt
but the son is carrying a shotgun when he gets out, and arbery rushes him and puts a hand on the barrel. Was the gun pointed at him? Probably not, since it went off pretty instantaneously frame-by-frame as arbery charged him, but the only matching bullet wound was through arbery's hand at point blank. So the evidence we have seems to stack against that



He doesn't know what 'cold blood' means, can't blame him, if you and everyone you know are dirty krauts its just assumed. Its like why whats called "American" dressing everywhere else in the world is branded as "Ranch" in America.

Unfortunately the video isn't on the confrontation prior to arbery attacking. You can hear the shots fired, and the first shot isn't until Arbery has already attacked and the video IS on the struggle. So for factual verification, that video is not good enough for anything except to confirm that the father was NOT aiming a weapon at Arbery, and no shots were fired until AFTER Arbery had attacked the son.

Your question indicates that you haven't seen it. Passing judgement without even seeing what evidence is available is pretty trashy.

on a semi serious note i've given up on watching people die. i just dont like to do it. if it leads me to make bad conclusions so be it.

That's a very respectable stance, I salute you.

However, if you are not willing to view the same evidence that the jury will be required to view, why do you believe you should openly condemn actions that you don't even know?

Edit: Also note, the video is not "gorey" or anything. Nor does it continue past him falling on the ground. It's not one of those super disturbing or shocking videos. As far as "dying" videos go, it's one of the most tame I've seen in years.
