I can rattle off a list of normally-easily-answered questions that you guys have utterly failed to respond to without the vaguest dismissive (like how I have to gain altitude to see farther away because the Earth is curved), how every camera that has ever gone higher than 60,000 feet always manages to have a fish eye lens that magically only works on the horizon, that objects have weight without gravity because the have buoyancy (somehow also without gravity), that GI Joes somehow manage to keep moving at 70 mph inside the car when you toss them but people who jump won't...

It is at the core of Essentialism though, and people really cling to that.

No Newton was not right and no Special Relativity is not that simple.

I know these people that cling to Newtonian physics from 300 years ago even though most of his theories were wrong and Einstein proved gravity was completely different and now string theory says it's probably something else and still nobody can put it all together - why people are so resistant to actual change is bewildering.
