God, please let him win the nomination. Here I thought nothing could break the GOP's gerrymandered House majority until the 2020 remap but a Trump nomination might just do it. I'd have to run the 2012 House numbers to see Trump at 38%/40%/42%/44% of the national popular vote but I think there'd be about an 80% chance the Democrats could flip the House in a neutral climate, especially with the A-team that's sitting on the bench waiting for 2020. They're basically waiting on 4 more years of dem. change/pop. growth (and the pessimistic view that no party can win 3 in a row) but they'd be climbing over one another to grab the nominations in districts getting passed up this year (NV-3, NJ-3, NM-2, CA-10 etc.) if Trump was on the ballot.
