I feel like you misunderstand the question. Sorry if I'm being unclear.

It seems to me that before you can pose God questions, you have to believe in him. If you don't believe in him, isn't asking him anything impossible?

How can an unbeliever ask God to give him faith?

...I don't believe that to be true . People constantly ask for help from the unknown when faced with difficulty .

I dunno. Still seems like trying to open a box with a crowbar that's inside the box...

I'd feel like talking to thin air.

I disagree.
Hebews 12:16 the Lord disciplines those he loves and chastises those he calls his children.

This is a temporary punishment and not a condemning eternal punishment.

God does judge he is the perfect judge. He judges people by their righteousness.  The righteousness of Christ is placed onto Christians and seen as their own during this judgement.

I do agree our conscience does condemn non christians and christians alike and God doesn't condemn christians.  thoughts of condemnation for christians are not from God. thoughts of conviction are from God.

just to be sure, you say God make temporary punishments, but never eternal punishment ?

also i wonder how he can judge his own creations and the environment around it, isn't like just judging himself ?

can God predict all will happen with his creations, or he have to deal with different unexpected scenarios ?

strict pacafisim, loving your enemy, giving up your riches, devoting your life to helping the needy, ect

what denomination actually follows these tenants of Christianity? do any?

Like neitszche said, there was only one Christian and he died on the cross, while this is clearly an overstatement on how difficult it is to actually follow the path of jesus, are there any modern denominations that actually abide by the teachings of Christ?

my mom is not Christian. She's catholic but she donates more money to the poor then she gives to me. I'm ok with it since I have food every night and I'm in college.

She works so damn hard. She's weak from surviving a very harsh war that took out most of her family. She is simply too nice. I tell her all the time that she can not be so nice to everyone.

She disagrees though. It upsets me cause people at her work take advantage of her kindness. They fucking yell at her and I go fucking crazy thinking about it.

I want to hurt them all soo badly but it would make my mother sad. It's probably not religion that made her this kind. It's her experience in life.

However, she prays for everyone. Instead of saying bad things about her enemies...she prays that they can understand the stuggles of others.

It's just insane. Some people really absorb the good things from religion. They might not even believe that religion but they manage to learn good things from it.

lol

Yeah technically, but we still like to call ourselves Catholics lol

Unfortunately...my sister and I are not religious anymore. We learned a lot of good things from it but we do not attend church. I haven't prayed in so long. I should probably pray just because I can. Even if their is no god....it's not going to hurt lol.

I do not know much about our religion. I only took in the whole "love your neighbors" and I help everyone when they need help.

It makes you feel better AND it spreads peace around you.

other then that....I barely know anything about our religion.

Catholics call themselves Catholics to differentiate themselves from Protestants. Both sides are Christian and readily identify as Christian; they are just adding specifics to the way they describe themselves.

I was raised Christian and fell away from the church before attempting a comeback. It never really worked out for me, but from your posts it sounds like you might have better luck with it than I did. I'd give faith an honest try if I were you and see where it takes you.

I'm by no means an expert on Christianity, but really?

How about the expulsion from Eden, the Flood, Sodom, ...?

(Eden) Biblical metaphor about human purity.
(Flood) Local cataclysm caused by a tsunami.
(Sodom) the science proved that this place was hit by a meteorite. (((The British Alan Bond, director of business space propulsion Reaction Engines, and Mark Hempsell, specialist in astronautics at Bristol University, scientists have deciphered the cuneiform inscriptions of a clay tablet dated 700 AC)))
God never interferes with evolutionary of any planet in the universe process.
it would confront its own immutable law.

edit: and as far as I know, there is no consensus on where Sodom actually was.
