ive asked my psychiatrist about this kind of thing before, usually its a developed obsession regarding some aspect of misunderstanding, could be they get turned on by trans people and have been taught to hate anything not straight so they obsess over this to compensate it, could be legitimately homophobic and associate transgender with that same kind of defense

the obsession is almost always very telling, op is either legitimately scared of trans people because a trans person turned them on once and they want to feel morally above it, it could go even as deep as them having gender dysphoria as well, but putting up the defense mechanism due to fear of what could happen etc

bottom line, whatever irrational fear op has, they are overcompensating by hate posting so they can feel okay about it

And this is an argument I never understood with someone who is trans.... The whole point of the movement is to let people understand there aren't gender norms and there is more to than just being your sex at birth.... But the entire concept of being trans is literally to conform to a gender norm, and that the person simply wanted to be another sex since birth. Can anyone explain this juxtaposition in rationale to me?

You are conflating sex (biological) with gender (social).

If somebody wants to live as a woman (social) they can do that without changing their biology.

If they don't want to live as a woman or a man they can identify as non binary and live as their own set of social values.

Personally I'm a gender abolitionist. I think the best way to organize society would be to just get rid of gendered social expectations. Everybody can live how they want and the only expectations would be based on physical observables ( ex carrying capacity for firefighters)

In a social setting for sure I will call a person that wants to be socially accepted as a woman a woman, thats fine, no hate here. But my concern is with the biological aspect. You can tell me all day there is a difference between gender and sex, which, quite frankly, there isn.t But I can also pull up hundreds of videos of people claiming the exact opposite of your argument. Claiming that a man can have a child in the biological sense. Now, I do want to address the hermaphrodites, yes, that is a thing. But rare. I dont want to say hermas arent 'normal' but in the sense that a man cannot be pregnant and a woman cannot have an adams apple, they are a very minor exception to the rule.

The fact of the matter is that even how you make the argument, which, I admit Im not a gender studies major, so take that with a grain of salt, but your argument comes about saying a person who does not wish to be their biological birthrite will attempt to act like another gender construct. In the exact same attempt to escape the normas of a gender construct. That is where the argument makes no sense. There can be rationale, for sure. But the logic doesnt add up. I don't think it is effective to claim gender norms and biological norms as incorrect. Sure, people are mean, and they should stop being so mean, of course. does that mean the body of knowledge is wrong? no. it doesnt.

There should be expectations, how else would we know who wants to fuck who? newsflash: you can act however you want, whenever you want, in terms of what you believe your inner being is. You cannot control anything outside of your inner self. And never will be able to. You are asking every single person to act a very specific way, it doesnt work. Humans arent like that some people want to get fucked, some people want to fuck, some people want both, some people want neither... and they need a way of letting others know, so they can get fucked. its very simple shit. we cant get rid of that. You aren't really making sense. You acknowledged above there's a difference between sex and gender by referencing the Hijras in India.

There is nothing biological about women doing dishes or the color pink. That's gender, not sex. It's social expectations.
