While I agree that society shouln't grant legal agency to minors, the case can be made that an 18 Y/O adult might need the ability to marry their 17 Y/O pregnant girlfriend, both to ensure his legal rights over the child, as well as provide insurance coverage for her.

If you really wanna get into the political sides it is the left that thinks MAPs (minor attracted persons, a term pushed by the left) should be normalized. Maybe some freaks on the right wanna marry a 16 year old…. But it is the left that is actively trying to normalize being attracted to minors as an identity. Marriage is at the least a little better than just wanting to use children. It’s all sick tho
