Professed left-wingers who focus their aim entirely on the Democratic party and anti-Trump figures can accurately be described as anti-anti-Trumpists. Because the supposed establishment, and most media outside of the right-wing bubble, criticize Trump, people like the substacker, Greenwald, and the rest whose names nobody has ever heard of are entirely focused on providing viewpoints contrary to that establishment position. And they've developed an audience that craves the anti-establishment view, and a significant segment of those people are sympathetic or explicitly in favor of Trump.
But I understand right-wingers have to pretend people like Tulsi Gabbard did a complete 180 because drag queen story hour or something.
Glenn Greenwald is doing what he always did, his ideology has been remarkably consistent. He's a bit too bitter for my taste, but it makes sense. All of his "friends" weren't fellow believers, just shameless partisans who disowned him as soon as he criticized the wrong side.
Taibbi reminds me of Liz Cheney, someone who no longer has a role in a movement that has left them behind. He's not a Trumpist, just someone who strongly disagrees with the majority authoritarian wing of the present Democratic party.
You should have a lot in common with these people, I don't know why you hate them.
